How to use the patches?
We recommend keeping the joint and migraine patches on the skin for 8 hours. If your skin is prone to allergies and irritation, for the first use we recommend keeping the patch on for up to 2 hours. We do not recommend wearing the patches overnight for the first use.
How soon will I feel their effect?
*To Better Days™ consumer study of 29 people carried out across one week during January 2020.
For how long can I keep the patch on my skin?
All of the ingredients in our patches are of premium quality and cosmetic grade with a low risk of allergic response. The patches have undergone dermatological testing and are classified as kind and safe for skin. However, if your skin is prone to irritation, for the first use we recommend keeping the patches on for up to 2 hours to see how your skin reacts to them. If you experience irritation, discontinue using the patches. Those with known allergies to plasters should not use the patches.
Are they suitable for long-term use?
As they are medicine-free, the patches can be used every day over a number of months however, if you are using the patches daily for longer than two months then we recommend getting your vitamin D levels tested.
Can I use more than one patch at a time?
You can use up to 2 patches at the same time.
What if the patches don’t stick?
On occasions we have found that some customers need to rub the patch gently, moving as little as possible for the first 10-15 minutes, allowing the adhesive to grip onto the skin with natural body heat. Please also make sure the area is clean and dry, free of any creams or moisturisers.
Can I cut the patches to adjust their size?
For the best results we recommend using the whole patch. However, you can cut it if needed. If you decide to do so, please make sure to apply all of its pieces in the affected area to make sure that you are receiving the full dose of the ingredients.
How do I get the joint patches on my fingers?
If you find the patch is too big to place on the affected area, you can cut it to adjust the size. However, in that case, make sure to apply all of the pieces of the cut patch to make sure that you will receive the full dose of ingredients.
Will the patches leave residue behind?
If there is residue left behind from the patch, this will be from the adhesive. The active ingredients should no longer be present. You can wipe it off with warm soapy water. For more resistant residue, baby oil or cooking oil can help dissolve the adhesive.
I’ve bruised myself, will the patch help?
No. To Better Days™ active patches are primarily intended to support the health of your joints, nerves and muscles and soothe ongoing problem areas All injuries, including bruises, sprains and strains, need time to heal both internally and externally from any physical pain as well as the aesthetic marks The patches work best in areas that after 3 months should have healed, yet discomfort persists, indicating potential damage to the nociceptor nerves.
