Are the patches vegan?
Our migraine patches are vegan. The active joint patches are vegetarian but they are not vegan as the vitamin D is sourced from lanolin (sheep’s wool). However, we are actively working towards making these vegan.
Are the patches a supplement?
No. Our patches are not classified by the MHRA as a supplement. We are a non-medicinal alternative. Our pre-clinical and clinical trials also show that vitamin D when absorbed through the skin does not increase OH 25 serum levels of vitamin D. Instead, vitamin D works on damaged nerves at skin level and is quickly absorbed by the nociceptors.
